Vitamin Question ...??
Okay, so I should probably know this, and I might have but have forgotten but ... do your pills have to crushed, chewed or liquid for the rest of your life or can we start taking regular vitamin, calcuim and B-12 pills after 3 months?
I forgot to ask my doctor this, so if you guys dont have an answer ... I'll probably have to call him!!
I take chewable vitamins, chewable calcium... When I ran out I took a Centrum- and owe boy I paid for it... It is big. My others meds are taken whole.
I agree with IRon being shots or sublingal because of non absorption...
Hope it helps..
ps I did take tylenol at that time of the month...
still have liquid loritab when necessary...
I am able to swallow pills since 6 weeks out. I can even swallow Fish Oil horse pills. Have not tried calcium or iron yet. Gee I feel like I am taking so many pills as it is. Lets see B1, B6, BCOMPLEX,B12,
CO Q10,BIOTIN,FISH OIL, ACTIGAL, SYNTHROID AND ZOLOFT.
OMG I AM A WALKING DRUG STORE.
Hugs Y'All

Yep Kimmy
And geesh none of them even give me a buzz isn't it a shame.
I spend a good 13 mins in the morning swallowing the darn things and what do I get out of it. Hmmm.... still got the hair loss and the high cholesterol (sp?) so nicks the Biotin and Fish Oil . The B's Im stuck with cause of the malabsorbtion thing but hey we pee those out anyway. Have to take that multi or we will turn into a multi something or other. The Actigal is a preventative for gal bladder disease...ok will stick that one only have to take it till Jan. Have to take the frigin thryroid med only have 1 thryroid gland but you think that might help me lose weight faster (of course not) So what other stuff is left OHHH who the heck cares.
Now you know my morning routine -- and still not a buzz yet
