Hey all, I saw this from another board and thought it would be fun to do ... Lets all say our name, where we live, what we do for a living and just some general info about yourself! I'll go first ... My name is Marlize, I live in Bellevue, WA ... the Great Northwest. I work as a project coordinator for a large engineering company working on widening the I-405 freeway here in Bellevue, Kirkland and Renton. I'm married to a wonderful man, Rob ... we dont have any kids yet, but are thinking about adopting next year. We do have a little mutt dog named Charlie that is the apple of my eye. We adopted him from the humane society last year after he was abused, debarked and detailed ... he is my baby and keeps me company when my husband works long hours.

Hi, I am Cristi. I am a Registered Nurse, and work at the local hospital here in LaPlace, Louisiana. I, in fact, have gotten a promotion this week, and am now being trained to be a "Charge Nurse." I work on a med-surgical unit that takes care of people with anything from post-surgery, to all sorts of illnesses. Most of my patients are elderly, but I take care of pediatric patients as well. I love being a nurse, even though the hours are long. I am married to a wonderful man for 16 years next month. His name is Scott, and we have three wonderful children.

Hi Everyone... My name is Sue. I live in Jackson, MS. I work as a registered associate at an Investment Firm (you know boring stocks and bonds). I have been divorced since 1997 (and am looking ) I have two daughters (ages 25 & 22) and one PRECIOUS grandbaby (age 8 months) and another on the way. I do alot of volunteer work for the No Kill animal shelter here in town and I am Vice President of MS Spay & Neuter (our statewide spay / neuter coalition).

Cool Idea Marlize... My name is Mandie Roberts and I have lived in Kalamazoo Michigan for 11 years. I grew up in a small town called Bridgman, also in Michigan, it is 20 minutes from the state line into Indiana. When I graduated high school in 1988 my class only had 76 students...that is how small of a town it is!..Not much bigger now...My point...I am attending Davenport University, a small private college, I LIKE THINGS SMALL..I WONDER HOW I GOT THIS BIG??? I received my Associates in Accounting in 2003, and I have been recently working on my bachelors for the same...HOWEVER...that is subject to change... I worked in the cash office at Meijer for 13 years and quit last December when they wouldn't give me Christmas Eve off...Long Story!!! I have not been working since then, but I am home-schooling our 6 year old son..Gary II..or as he likes to be called..little "g" the second...(Daddy is Big Gary). We have been married for 12 years. No pets because we live in an apartment but we are house hunting, some day hopefully. My husband has his PhD in Political Science and is the Poli-Sci instructor at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor and commutes everyday (an hour). He is the book person and I am the number person! I am very proud of him! HEY...never really thought about it...but..I am married to Dr. Gary C. Roberts...that sound so good! Presidential elections watch out.......seriously though I am VERY PROUD OF HIM!!! Sorry so long but you all know how I am... Mandie

Hi! I'm Tina and I live in Davenport, Iowa. I have only been living here for about 5 months. Before that I was in Clinton, Iowa (my home town). I am an Account Administrator (recently promoted from Administrative Assistant) for a TPA firm. We do administration work for 401(k) plans. I am single and have no children besides my two fur-kids Sierra & Pochahontas (cats). I am living alone for the first time in basically my whole life (lived with my gram) and let me tell you it kind of sucks! I don't know what else to add. Great post Marlize!! Tina

My name is Nan. I'm 40 and have been married to a great guy for 21 years. We have 3 boys (17, 12, 12 (yup, twins) and a stubborn black lab named Satchmo. We live in a small town in Kentucky on the river. I work as a Learning Consultant for a large international corporation and I also own my own business "Brainy Betty" on the internet which is also a corporation. I just started a new division of Brainy Betty called intellipodcast which is a podcasting and videocasting production company. I am really enjoying life in my 40th year!

Hello! I am Teresa. I will be 39 this saturday the 30th and my oldest one will turn 22 on the same day, he was born on my 17th birthday. I also have a 14 y/o son as well. I have been married for a year to my second husband. I live in Benton Arkansas, small town between Little Rock and Hot Springs. I have worked at the same hospital for the last 20 years in various clerical positions, my favorite was the emergency room but I got tired of the weekends, but it was never boring! Thanks!

Hey all- My name is Andrea, and I live in Manhattan. My heart really is in San Francisco, where I lived for four years. I moved to Manhattan two years ago. I have lived in NY, Chicago, Washington DC, Japan, Cincinnati and San Francisco. I work for a pharmaceutical company. I do market research and analytics. It is interesting, and I like the fact I am working on things that can help people live healthier lives. I do not have a husband/boyfriend yet, but am looking! Now that I have my confidence back, I am trying the online dating thing-- We'll see what happens. I do have two adorable pooches. Maggie is 8 years old and I got her from a rescue group 6 years ago. She is a mutt- most likely a beagle/jack russell/corgi mix. Nicholas is a King Charles Cavalier-- he is almost 11 months old. I have, against my will become a crazy dog person over the years

Hi All, My name is Joyce M and I live in a small rural town in Indiana. I am married with 2 sons ages 26 & 29. I also have a step-daughter who is 19 yrs old and two grandsons, 3 & 4 yrs old. We have a very spoiled blonde lab mix dog and her name is Kaydee. OMG how we have spoiled her. We really need to stop because she is just rotten but with the kids all grown and out on thier own...well lets just say we have invested a lot of time spoiling her. I am a L.P.N. however, I really don't do any nursing at this point in my life. I work as the office manager for a busy Family Practice Clinic. My husband is a wonderful, wonderful man and is the Chief of Police in the town we live in. We have been married for five years and looking forward to spending the rest of our lives togethor.
