uuuugggghhhh!!
Why am I sooooo stupid?! Just ate way to much hamburger, and I am paying for it. Wish I would just throw up and get it over with. Keep choking up mucus instead though. Yes I know I ate too much, too fast, and it is MY fault, but I still feel awful. Just wanted to ven at how stupid I was. Thanx for listening
Nickie
Nickie,
Our surgery dates are only a few days apart, how much hamburger can you usually eat before it makes you sick? I have only tried hamburger meat in tacos and I can eat a whole taco from taco bell, not always, but on a good day when my stomach doesn't hurt, which is rare these days. I can eat a whole boca frozen veggie burger, but with no bun. Are you doing any bread with your food?
Sorry you are feeling bad, hope it passes soon for you!

Teresa,
I should have stopped at about half way or a little after. It was a 4 oz hamburger. So I still eat right around 3 oz to get to the ok better stop phase. My problem was that I was on the phone and not paying attention, and it was really really good I at it with some sauteed onions and Carb Select Steak sauce. I am all better now...whatever was causing me to feel yucky has come up, and the rest is sitting in my pouch. Think I am going back to shakes for a few days because my shake recipe is THE BOMB!! I have been on a stall as well, so I think I will just do drinks and up my exercise a little to get over it. Thanks for asking about me.
GLAD THAT IS OVER!!!
Nickie
Okay Nickie...You can't sit there and tell us that your shake recipe is the bomb and then not share it!
I am always looking for easy ways to get my protein in! Please share!
As far as the hamburger...I know what you mean. Somedays I have no problems with it and other days I should never touch it! But then again...I think that goes for anything that I put in my mouth! I think that we can all relate to that. It just amazes me that one day something will go down just fine and the next day I get sick after two bites! How strange.
I hope that you continue to feel better!
Just me...Jess
oh yeah,,,forgot to put it in didn't I?! LMAO
Ok here goes...the recipe for DaBomb Protein Shake:
8 oz fat free milk (8g protein) or Carb Countdown
1/2 Banana
2 TBSP. Natural Peanut Butter (8g protein)
Squirt of sugar free chocolate syrup
1 Scoop Tasteless or Vanilla Protein (mine has 20g protein per scoop)
Grand total of 36g protein in one drink!
Mix it all in a blender with a little ice and voila....you have an ice cream shake! I swear it tastes like you went to an ice cream stand and got a mixed shake.

I know this is WAAYY too late to help with this occurance, but the two times this has happened to me I either chewed some papaya enzyme to help disolve the food, and/or drank some hot tea to help get the food a-moving through. That is the ONLY thing that resolved the problem for me. At least after drinking the hot tea I didn't feel like I was DYING.
And gads those foamies are so stinkin' nasty. I would spit that crud up but not the food that was causing distress. When that happened to me, it was because I ate 1. too fast or 2. the beef I ate was way too dry. My bad...
