This is a Lady subject- some content is yucky -but those who have experienced it know what it is like!!! Has anyone felt like they are experiencing ovulation again. I can pretty much time it now. I have had little twitches on either side( ovaries) and then when it resides - that egg white substance appears. This is happening about week after Aunt Flow visits. Being so OVER WEIGHT for years I did not have that. I think I am becoming fertile again!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope not Jay! LOL Patti... I remember my surgeon saying that fertility is usually increased as weight is reduced...that's why they want to make sure that you do not get pregnant for at least 2 years after surgery. Make sure and have protection ready!! I know my sex drive has gotten better! Mandie

why shouldn't you get pregnant for at least two years? my gf had her surgery a year ago, we don't plan on children within the next year but still i'm curious, what's the issue?

Jay - They say that some women can not eat enough calories for the baby to grow properly until they are two years out. There are many women who have babies earlier but both the mom and the baby are at a higher risk the earlier out they are. I hope that helps now tell Mel to be careful but to have a lot of fun Nancy

You lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. You are probably still adjusting. I am sure it will come back. A friend of mine got pregnant after WLS on her 7 months. This was an oops.. SHe delivered a healthy baby boy and is doing very well. She continued to lose after the birth. I am single - still searching!
