Where is everyone?

Hello everyone...you know who you are.....are you in LURKVILE lately? If you are you know you can come out and play with us. We only bite if you want us to! LOL...WE MISS YOU...Have you reached a plateau and are boycotting this board until you level off....HELLO.............. HELLO......... If you are on a plateau and don't feel like posting anything that's fine, I just want you to know that I am thinking about you all! Hi Amanda and all. I have been very, very busy at work. This past week we implented a new computer software and have been staying late almost every night. The good news that on Wednesday which is my official weigh in I lost another 2.6 pounds for a total of 55.7 pounds! I continue to be so excited about every ounce I lose. What a change it has made in my life. Hope everyone is doing well. I might have to go pick my mother up in Florida. Damn Hurricanes anyway! Can't stop severe weather from happening....Take care all. joyce

Be careful....thats quite a drive.... Keep some good (high protein of course) snack foods with you on your trip too! Mandie

What am I chop liver. OH no thats too fattening I have been around and doing fine. Yes I am still Queen Plateau lose a pound or 2 or 3 than stall for a week or two. By the end of the month I am not doing too bad. Hope all is well with you in WLS land. Hey did you see the Today show this morning? They had a special on Bariatric Surgery. Not sure if that was too positive of a story. New reports came out about the surgery and it was based on that info. Oh Pam you are one of the people I was thinking about...YOU ARE NOT CHOPPED LIVER!!!! I saw that same type of thing on NBC Dateline a couple of nights ago and it really infuriated me, so bad that I emailed them the next morning...It was pretty lengthy, but the jist of what I said was that I didn't like how they didn't seem to do enough research on the subject, and all they talked about was the negative. I mentioned how OPEN HEART SURGERY is also a very risky BUT a LIFE SAVING surgery..... OOOHHHH SOOMETIMES I HATE THE MEDIA......... I would do this again too... My question is Why is it people on medicare? Are they not allowed the follow up care like most surgeons require? Mandie P.S. Glad to hear you are still around Pam!

Hi Mandie I have been enjoying a TIME OUT dog/house sitting for my sister and recouping from my knee injury. I did not forget you.. I posted that I LOVE my sisters SCALE... It says I am down 63 lbs... Any whooo- missed everyone tooo...Hope all is well with you. While relaxing and watching tv I saw Judge ???/ there was a woman on who was 380 pounds- she is now 168... She was gorgeous... She was seeking a divorce from her husband- who had cheated with thinner woman. They showed her before and after pics. Funny show

yeah, what's up with that news article? Did they JUST check Medicare people? Those are very sick patients, so the mortality would naturally be higher! Oh well. Yes Mandie, here I am. I have been working, working, working!!! lol

Hey Mandie- Thanks for the call. I was out of town at a business conference until Thursday and then I had some guests in. And yes... I am POed because I gained wait. I just keep hovering between 202-and 205. I did not want to bother anyone about it because I know I should be happy how much healthier I feel and how much weight I lost... So I haven't been visiting Hope everyone is doing well. Andrea
