Anyone Else still tired?

I find that I am very very tired, every single day. I take my multi vit, sublinqual B12 as well as an iron tablet...I eat what I believe to be enough protein (plus supplements) around 80 gm a day. I drink my water I am NOT exercising though, so I am sure that's part of it...but does anyone else feel fatigued? I almost feel the way I do when first pregnant (dead on my feet sleepy), but not quite. Good thing that AF is visiting me, or I'd have to start buying tests LOL I go for my blood work tomorrow and have my 3 month post op appt next week, so I guess I'll discuss that w/ my surgeon at the time. Thanks all!

Mmmm, actually I feel fine. I have alot more energy and I'm usually busy and up until late in the evenings. I dont exercise as much as I should (I'm trying right now), and I get in all my vitamins, protein and most of my water. But, I have to say there are a couple days that I'm tired at the end of the day (like yesterday), not as bad as pre-op, but I will go to bed around 8pm rather than 11pm. That usually happens when work was so busy and I was running around all day, then went grocery shopping and by the time I got home, I was really tired. I know that wasnt much help, but remember you are loosing really fast and your body is trying to keep up. Its using all the energy it can to burn and keep you up and going!! Hang in there, I'm sure it will get better once your body adjusts!! Marlize

I have more energy than I did before... but... after a busy day I do feel a bit more tired than I used to.

Yep, Denitta. I'm pooped. All the time. I'm taking my vitamins, getting my protein and water in, etc. But I'm still struggling with the fatigue. I have fibromyalgia which causes sleep problems so that's probably making things worse. My doc says exercise (and more water - sheesh!) helps, and I'm doing my best - I skate 2-3X a week and have been trying to add in some aerobic DVD's and Pilates when I can manage. It's pretty tough, though, when I can't stay awake during regular waking hours and I can't sleep during regular sleeping hours! A conundrum. I guess we just have to keep plugging along and add more activity a little at a time. You certainly have my empathy and encouragement for whatever it's worth! Cheers, Tara

I still get tired from time to time. I excercise at least 5 days a week 3 at Curves and I walk 2 miles on the off days. Aunt Flo does beat the heck out of me. My blood work came back great so I think its just low calories low energy. Does that sound like a good diagnosis LOL Hugs Pam

I find I get tired right before the scales moves backwards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All that work our body is doing reducing... KEEP taking vitamins and protein and drink ! Excercise restores a lot of energy. A little walk or stretches helps.. We have been threw a MAJOR SURGERY and it was only a short time ago. The change of seasons here in WNY do have a lot to do with me feeling tired. Hang in there! Have you had any blood work done yet? I just had my three month bloodwork and I have NO iron. Seriously NONE. The low end of normal is 60 and I am at 16. This is making me extremely tired. I could nap at any point of life. If you have not had any recent blood work maybe you can ask if you can have it done and check all your levels. Good luck, Nancy
