3 months & week - 47- 50 lbs? Is that good?
Sorry I am having a pity party because I keep seeing & hearing that people with the same time out have lost more like 60+ pounds. I have measured and the first month I lsot 20 inches & yesterday I measured and have lots another 20 inches (total 40 inches).
I even put my numbers in the weight loss planner and per its calculation that means that I will only loose about 65-70%. I want to meet my goal of 150lbs! =(
Please someone cheer me up or slap me back into reality.
Nicole
Yep, mine has the same projection ... damn those projections!! As long as we are loosing weight, staying healthy and feeling good who cares about everyone else, right??!!
Yeah yeah, my mouth is pretty big considering I'm really frustrated with my platau at 55lbs and my 3 month check up is next week. But what can you do? I too want to meet my goal of 150lbs, and the way it looks now, it will take me 1 1/2 years or more instead of 1 year to loose it.
Lets just keep supporting each other and this will work for us!! WE CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My surgery was on 7/18, and I'm just about where you are in weight loss. As long as it's coming off, I guess I don 't care if it's slower than some. At least if it comes off slow, there's not so much baggy stretched-out skin. My doc says I'm right where he would expect me to be at this point. You also have to wonder, if you are exercising, if you are turning fat to muscle ( which weighs more ). I know there are weeks when my scale barely moves, but my clothes continue to get bigger on me.
Hang in there.

GIRLLLLLLLLLLLLLL i hear you loud and clear.... i had my surgery in july and i've lost about 53lbs. i'm a little down.. wishing i could lose faster, but like everyone else says.. as long as the numbers keep going down. i've gone down about 3, almost 4 sizes.. so i know i'm getting smaller.. just frustrated with the numbers. but keep your head up and whenever you need to vent hit the message boards.
take care

I had my surgery the 25th and Ive only lost 52 lbs and gained 3 somehow over the last few days.... Im frustrated too.. but keep your chin up... well get there. What calculation predictor are you using ? I used one and it said 100% weightloss based on my weighloss so far and my activity level ... I will post the one I use when I head downstairs.... its not in my favorites on this computer.

Is this the predictor youre using ? This one says Im going to loose 100% of my excess weight and get down to like 116 lbs w/in the next 10months !!! I hope its right !

I had an appointment with my surgeon this week and he informed me that an average of 1/2 pound a day is normal. Some loose more and then slow down and some are just steady. And of course as always, "slow and steady is better"...for your looks for your health...everything.
I keep reminding myself of how long I've worked in the past to get off half a pound and now it's happening approximately every day?
What a blessing
