Can I get a AMEN!!!!!!!!
Hallelujah!!
I finally am under 300 pounds! The scale read 299.7 this morning! Whoohoo! Ive been stuck for at least a week and a half between 302-304.
I really hope that I can be at least 295 by my 3 month post op appt. on the 27th. Im crossing my fingers. I've started going back to Curves two days ago ( I was MIA for a month because I hurt my back, then just got plain ol' lazy), and come to find out I lost 20.75 inches in 1 1/2 months. I thought that was pretty good, if I do say so myself.
So now I've been thinking about getting one of those elliptical machines so that I could do it at home. Man, those things are a pretty penny!!!! I tried looking for one on ebay, but I keep getting outbid. They're going for so much that I might as well purchase a brand new one so it has a warranty. It all comes down to $$ though. It sucks being poor. LOL. Not that Im actually poor, but you get my drift. Me and my boyfriend just bought a house in June, so $$ is a little tight right now. Who knows...maybe I'll try to hit my mom up for some $$....LOL. Well, hope everyone has a great day!!

Hi Tiffany...
Congrats at breaking the 300 mark. Hope to do that myself before too long. I was looking for exercise equipment too and decided it was actually cheaper to join a fitness club instead. Now for a low monthly fee I got machines galore to use not to mention a pool and sauna at my disposal. Just something to think about. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Tiffany,
AMEN! AMEN! AMEN! We are surgery sisters. I am glad you are having such great success.
Maybe you could ask your family for an early Christmas present. If you get a group to chip in, it won't be so painful. I have a recumbant stationary bike. I like it a lot, but I still have to force myself to use it.
Have you ever used an elliptical machine? If not, you might want to try one before you buy it.
Keep up the great work. I can't wait to break 200. Of course, it is going to be a long time, but we have to have goals, don't we?
