Hi everyone, I was thinking since we all are scale JUNKIES why not make a promise to one another that we WON'T weigh ourselves everyday and only on Sunday mornings? What do you all think? I know I can be that strong and wait till then, can you? Lets give it a try OK? I know we can do this on the honor system. Cheri P.S. Also if the scale makes us it'll only be once a week instead of every other day or so. GOOD LUCK ALL!!!

Mandie I know you can do this. Plus, look on the bright side of this. When Sunday comes and you weigh in you'll see a bunch of weight gone instead of aggravating yourself all week Come on honey "you can do it!" P.S. Yes I am a little crazy always have been. It's a good idea Cheri, but the problem is, what if you get on the scale after a week and you haven't lost anything? Then you have a whole weeks worth of depression instead of just one day! I weighed 223 a week ago, and haven't been back since! It's gone UP!

LOL Mandi I agree w/ Cheri, I get on that scale in the mornings and just bounce around those 2 lbs and sometimes it affects how I view my day so yes I will try to stay off during the week.....But its going to be HARD!!! Hope you guys have a great day, Cheryl

Hi Michele, If you weigh yourself only on the weekends you can only be miserable that day only if you gain and then if you did gain you can take a look at your week and figure out what went wrong and try to fix it or if you did nothing wrong then you know it's not you or what your doing, it's just the way your body is adjusting. I know what I did wrong last week so I'm going to really buckle down this week. Oh and if you did lose weight on your Sunday weigh in then you'll have a great day and week and also know you are doing the right thing for your body and to keep it up. Hope you understand what I'm trying to say.. Cheri

BUSTED! LOLOL!!! Cheri, you said that you didn't know why men lose faster than women-- it is because men have more muscle than women. Muscle continues to burn fat even when you're not exercising. That's why it's a very good thing to build muscle.

Ok people I'm busted but that's the reason I'm trying to do this. My scale didn't move and I'm still 257 lbs. and I also tried on some clothes I bought over a month ago and they still don't either fit or look good on me yet!! I got really depressed over it and it totaly ruined my day and this morning the same thing. I didn't weigh myself but just knowing that my weight is on a stand still and that all those clothes stll don't fit too good. I'm having a miserable weekend!! So from now on I'm going to drink more fluids, more protien and definitly going to go to Curves at least 4x a week. I hung up this one special outfit and my goal is to be able to wear it and look good in it in 2 weeks. NO MAtter what!!! So you see how weighing yourself everyday and not seeing results will ruin your day!!! It does mine!!! At the beggining of this surgery I was at least losing 5 lbs. a week or so and everytime I got on the scale and it moved I was happy and had a wonderful look on how the day would be. So I'm not going to let a scale ruin my day anymore. HUGS, Cheri

Hi Cheri~ I will try to do this as best I can! I too get on the scale way to much and then I go crazy! It is nothing for me to get on the scale 3 or more times a DAY!!! My dr has already asked me to put my scale away and only weigh in once a week but I haven't been able to do it yet. If I know you are going to I will challange myself too! I agree that the once a week is better I just hope I am strong enough!!! I will be leaning on you in times that I want to weigh!!!!! Thanks for the support~ Grace
