Three month post-op appointment

Yesterday was my 3 month followup appontment with Dr. Scott. It was only 11 weeks, but my appointment had been moved up. It was the best appointment I have ever had in any doctor's office. I am down 64 lbs in less than 3 months. My BMI went from 45 pre-op to 36 yesterday. I am not obese, instead of morbidly obese. Last week my PCP took me off my BP med. Yesterday, after a week with no med, my BP was 119/79. That's lower than it was with the medicine for many, many years. I am very happy with my results so far. I still have to make my exercise program more regular, but this too shall happen.

Cheri, Thanks for your kind words. I am very happy with the weight loss. I am beating myself up, because I can't get into the exercise habit for more than a few days at a time. I'm getting really squishy!! This weekend I am going to work hard on starting a routine. Linda

Pam You are so right!! The next medical issue I hope to conquer is the sleep apnea. I really would love to ditch the CPAP. We'll see. Linda
