3 Month Check-up

Ok - well... I feel a little better now. I went to my appointment this morning and weighed 179 on his scale. I started at 231.5 on his scale, so that is a loss of.... 52.5 pounds officially. At least it didn't say 180! I had my measurements taken at my 10 day post-op appointment. I had already shrunk a good bit by that point, so I know these numbers are probably a tiny bit higher, but this is what I have to start with, and this is what I'll use.... Chest was 44 inches --- now 42 inches Abdomen was 44 inches --- now 34.5 inches Arm was 16 inches --- now 12 inches Thigh was 26 1/2 inches --- now 22 1/2 inches Pretty good results I think - especially in the abdomen! WOW! So....I'm in a better mood now! My iron was low and I have to start a supplement. YUK - but other than that, all was good. Happy dance! : HUGS Kimberly

I like your happy dance 10 inches in the abdomen.....you go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think mine was something over 67 inches when I had surgery, I am not sure what it is now as I cannot get an accurate measurment..my tape measure only goes to 60 inches...and who knows if I am even trying to measure the right area... I haven't been taking my iron supplement....BAD MANDIE... I was tired of being all "backed up" if you know what I mean. I can tell now though that I need to take them again, I am a little on the week side today, and my friend has been here for 2 days now so a lot going out today... I know TMI...TMI... Anyhoo...CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mandie

Wow Kimberly, Congratulations!! 52.2 lbs off for life! Can you believe it's only been 3 months! My 3 month appointment is next Wednesday. (my profile has the wrong date...surgery was on July 19th)I can't wait to get the official scale!! lol Be careful with the iron. I had problems with using the bathroom. Now I have to take a stool softener. Once again...........YEAH!!! Congrats. Enjoy your success El

Those stats are awesome ... you go skinny girl!!! I like my doc's scale too ... it weighs me 5lbs less than my homescale!! Good luck with the iron, a friend at work bought me the liquid iron and boy, its disgusting. Told him I'm not gonna drink it until they tell me my levels are low ... so keep your fingers crossed cuz if it is, we will just have to suffer through it!! Marlize
