Okay so for me, 3 months out would be the 10/26 since I had my surgery on 7/26. But I notice on my doctors paperwork, 3 months out means 10 weeks which is this week??!! How do you guys perceive it ... according to the date that you were done or weeks?? Just curious ... Marlize

Well, I think it is 3-months post op. I had surgery on July 27th and my (what I consider) 3-month post op is scheduled for Oct 26. I would take it for what it really is....On the the 27th of this month I will be 3-months out of surgery. Maybe your doctor is going by when you have the appointments. I had my 6-week post-op visit when it was actually more like almost 8 weeks out. Just depends on the timing of when they can get you in maybe. Mandie

Thanks for the input Mandie!!!! Thats how I figured it too ... my docs paperwork says at 3 months or 10 weeks out I can start on soft to solid foods (no more pureed) so instead of starting now, I'll wait until my 3 month post-op visit which is on the 21st do see what he says before I start eating solids. Two weeks to go ... WHOO HOO!!

Me either, but I hear alot of people talking in weeks rather than months out. I like months, because it doesnt always work out to exactly 4 weeks per month so it gives me more time to loose weight and say I've lost more!! ((wicked smile)) BTW, how are you doing?? Did you have open or lap?

that's odd that you lost two weeks that way, for me, my surgery was on July 20th and it will be 12 weeks on Oct 19th. How did your doctor come up with 10 weeks?

Jay, I dont really know. I went through my paperwork that I got pre-op cuz I wasnt sure when to make my appointment 3 month post op appointment. Oh well, I'm seeing him on 10/21 so that will be one of the questions I'll ask him. Maybe its a typo ... Marlize
