WOW--Got pants?

It's official. I went to put on one of my suits this morning and the pants fell down. I tripped- fell (gracefully of course) to the floor. The dogs thought this was an invitation to play. Said pants are now covered with white fur and can not be worn any longer by me. While this is a cause for celebration, I am concerned that my choice in work clothes is becoming dangerously thin. I only have one more size of clothes in my closet (2 pants at a size 14) and then I have NO clothes that fit. I am going to try to take a few pants in at the tailors, but any suggestions for cheap work clothing?

Gracefully of course! haha! That's funny. I, too, put my size 24 washed jeans up on the shelf last night never to be worn by me again! Wooohoooo! It's a great feeling, isn't it? How about Salvation Army or Goodwill? I live in Silicon Valley, so it's really easy to find high end clothing here, I don't know about your area though. And I don't work outside of the home so I can get by with sweat pants and t shirts.

I did keep my big shorts as a reminder-- Gave all my other jeans to charity. I am in Manhattan-- very easy to find high end clothing-- they are just accompanied by high end prices! I'll have to rent a car and go for a trip to the Jersey outlets one day.

I was going to suggest GoodWill also. I see women in there all the time shopping for business suits etc. I have a REALLY good store. What size are you needing - I'll be keeping an eye out for ya. HUGS Kimberly

I'll give goodwill a shot here too. I'll check it out- I am a bit lopsided-- My top half is still plussy, but I you can wear sweaters/tops big so that's not a problem. My bottoms-- I am in 16 now, but when I go down to a 14, that's when my choices start to narrow. I could wear skirts but that would require uncomfortable shoes YUCK! Cheers- Andrea

I too were buying alot of exspensive cloths but lately I've been shopping in cosignment shops. I'm lucky cause theres one down the block from curve, where I work out. It's alot cheaper to go there then keep buying expspensive clothes everytime we go down a size. You also can sell your clothes you no longer wear and they even trade too. So if you have any of them around your area check it out. Good luck. Cheri
