HELP! Only 6 pounds lost this month!
I'm right there with you, I've only lost 5 in September and only 32 since surgery. 18 on pre-op diet as well. It's so hard seeing people get on here and say they've lost 60-100 pounds already, it's so hard not to compare even though we know most who have lost that much started at higher weights. If someone starts at a weight under say 275, they are typically slower losers but knowing that sure doesn't help. All I can say is that as long as it continues to come off in inches or pounds, I WILL reach my goal eventually. It may take just as long as someone who started over 300 but it will happen.

Girl, I'm right up there with you. The charts says I'm about 15-20lbs behind schedule although I'm doing everything I should be doing.
I'm loosing really slow too and I also started out at 318. I upped my protein this week, and actaully buckled down with the exercising, so hopefully that helps.
I say "BAN THE SCALE" and we should just go on what we feel. Yeah, my mouth is pretty big considering I weight myself everyday.
What can you do, if you know you are doing everything right, then its up to your body, you can only do so much. Maybe I too should go read the July 2004 boards to get some extra encouragement.
Hang in there, I know we can do it with we stick with it ... even if it is discouraging and just plain frustrating!!

I use this weight planner and I am only suppose to loose about 6 lbs this third month.

I also want to add that once I had lost about 40 lbs. I had about at two and a half week stall that just ended. (The 40 lbs for me included some pre-surgery loss) I did loose inches during that time. I think after a certain amount of weight lost your body just needs to stop and adjust things.
It's going to keep coming off....don't stress!! It's the war you need to win not this one month battle with the scale! LOL.
Hugs, (I know it's frustrating!)
