Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
Congrats everyone.
This is my second Sunday in a row without losing a pound. I have lost 50 altogether. It's so easy to tell other post-ops that it's normal to stall until it happens to me. The last time I was able to lose weight was in 2001 and I was never able to get over the 50 pound mark, I sure hope that isn't the case this time or I'm out $23,000. I know...it's not the end but it sure feels like it right now.

I went for almost 3 weeks without a loss. I was not a happy camper. However I did lose inches. Which is a good thing. Have you been measuring? I know that made me feel better. I changed some of the things I was eating and the pounds started dropping again. I use fitday.com to count out everything I am eating and I found I really had too much fat in my diet. Eventhough I only was taking in 500 - 600 cals
That is what worked for me.
As far as your weight loss tell me when was the last time you lost 32 lbs in 2 months? My weight lose is still slow post op but I am losing. So if its inches or pounds its better than gaining. I have even gained a pound or two along the way. I know this tool will work if I do the right things .Everyone loses at different paces and your body needs a time to catch up. I know you don't want to here this stuff, but it is true. The pounds will start coming off again.
Girl you are doing an awesome job and don't you forget it.
hugs

Pam,
Thank you for your reply, it always helps to know that other people go through stalls too, not that I'm glad other people have them.
I know everyone loses at different rates, I've told many post-ops that very thing and that your body has to catch up but when it's me of course, it's different, "I must be done" or "It didn't work for me" (Strange huh?). I know I'm not done and that it worked. I have not been measuring and I know I should but just never do. I think I know what my problem is though...I am not getting in enough water, and I read somewhere that if when you're on a stall, your body is replacing fat with water because it's not getting enough. Sounds reasonable to me.
Anyway, I will be working on drinking drinking drinking.
Have a great day Pam.
