TOO Much Food?!

I have been feeling sick for a couple of days. This morning I ate a whole banana and for lunch I had about 10 or 12 Totino's cheese pizza rolls. I still don't feel full and its freaking me out. Should I be able to eat that much? I usually can only eat about 4 ozs. at a time. I am drinking all my protein and water and vitamins and such as well! WAAHHHHH!!!!!

I don't think that sounds like too much food. I had a gronala bar for breakfast, some beef jerkey at about 10:30 AM and then I had a small burrito for lunch. I have lost 45 pounds so far as of today. My surgery was July 12th, 2005. Amy

Maybe your body is just more hungry right now....I wouldn't worry too much...I have days when I feel like I eat to much then the next day I don't feel like eating at all...It is almost like we are children again...You know how they eat when they are hungry...or kind of pick at food if they are not. Sometimes I make something for my son to eat and he just is not hungry and the next day he could eat 2 sandwiches instead of one.. (You know what I mean?)... I think our bodies let us know when we need something....kinda like when pregnant, our bodies crave certain foods at different times. I hope I didn't confuse you... Mandie

My only suggestion is watch out for those carbs . You arent really eating too much but both the banana and the pizza rolls have lots of carbs hugs Pam

Thanks for reminding me guys! I guess that really isn't that much. I tend to eat when I'm sick - probaby psychological - wanna feel better ya know? It's hard choosing the right foods. I wish sometimes I had a nut living with me who could go to my kitchen and say ok, you can have this and this and this (and they would all taste yummy and be filling.) I don't eat meat or fish or poultry or eggs - but I am getting about 100 gms. of protein in a day. I am craving spicy things and salty things and doing ok in that department finding foods to eat. It just seemed like all of a sudden I can eat a whole lot more than I could last week!

Nah, I wouldnt worry about it Nan!! But I agree that you need to watch the carbs ... bad bad bad!! Some days it feels like all I'm doing is eating and that I'm hungry ALL THE TIME!! I can only eat about 4oz at a time, but then I'm hungry every 2-3 hours. But some days like today, I barely eat anything cuz I'm not really hungry. I've had 2 protein shakes and a 4oz serving of chicken/veggie curry and turkey chili today and thats it. Hang in there, as long as we are loosing ... its working!! Marlize
