My surgery was 7/27 I weighted 305 and now I am 273. I lost 26lbs by my first month weigh in. So you can see this last month I have only lost 5 or 6 lbs. I am getting worried. I do very little physically as I need knee replacement surgery. I don't always drink my protein as I have not found one I like, however I do at least one with 20 grms. a day. I have a hard time getting meat down, I take a bite and feel full. Actually I think it gets kinda stuck. So I tend to eat more carbs than I should. Ie baked potatoe and casseroles or cheese sticks. I am surprised that in the last couple of days I seem to be able to eat more (like a whole medium size banana). This moring I ate a half sandwich for breakfast. I wonder if I am eating to much. I use to eat only three of peanut butter and cheese crackers but not can eat the package of six for a meal. I sure would appreciate you alls input. I soooo don't want to stretch my pouch. Oh another thing I can feel when my pouch is full but never have that satisfied feeling. I guess it's just head hunger but is sure unsettling. I will try to get in on the Sun. weigh in I read everyones post all the time but have not posted since surgery. Every one is doing so great! Cil

While I dont know how I can help you, I do know where you are coming from. I had surgery on 7/18 and I have weight the same weight for almost 3 weeks. I have upped my exercise to see if that helps and I have increased my water intake as well. here is what i can eat in a day Breakfast: One packet of Quaker lower Sugar Oatmeal with 1 cup of Simply Smart Milk = 14 grams protein Snack: 10 grapes Drink: Carb Options Pink Lemonade 0 calories Lunch: Half a can of Beeferonni = 8 grams protein Drink: NSA Fruit Punch 90 calories Snack: PeanutButter Crackers or Popcorn = 2-5 grams protein Drink: 1 Cup of Simply Smart Milk = 10 grams protein Dinner: One 3oz Chicken Breast w/gravy, 1/3 Cup Mashed Potatoes 1 small Corn On the Cob. = 14 grams protein Drink: Hawaiian Punch Light Total 48 - 51 grams protein daily Doc suggests atleast 45 But I still feel like 1/2 can of Beeferonni Is too much. I know the carbs are there but It's not like I eat them every day. More like twice a week. Niesha 285/278/238/165 .............^........

Priscilla, you already admitted what you are doing wrong. You know you need to increase your physical activity. As soon as you can, that would be great. Even if you only walk a block every so often, it would help. I have only lost 35 pounds. I was stuck at 19 pounds until I started moving. Then it started to speed up. At first, I could not do as much. The more often I go to the gym, the more I can do or the longer I can stay on a machine. I started out just doing the bike and treadmill. Also your PROTEIN has to increase. It is a challenge to find one that you like. I have 4 large containers in my kitchen that I can't even look at without gagging. I keep them because people tell me I may like them later on this journey. Tired of wasting my money, I ordered one serving packs from BariactricEating.com. I enjoy the Protein Delight flavors and actually look forward to them. Vanilla Very Berry and Strawberry White Chocoalte are my favorites. Do a search. There are a lot of sites to visit to find protein powders. I drink 2 a day. Meats are very had to get down. Try Wendys chili. yogurt, cottage cheese with SF fruit and low fat cheese. Watch the fat! Stay away from carbs that have no nutritional value. Read all of your labels. This all takes time but will get easier the more you do it. It is hard to stretch your pouch. It is made with the toughest part of your stomache. You have to start eating more not less. Eat your proteins first before fruit. Try tuna or egg salad with low fat mayo and put it through the blender for an even thinner consistency. This will help it from getting stuck on the way down. I eat a salad for lunch of spinach leaves, tuna, cheese and chick peas...almost all protein. Since the salad is harder to digest, I feel satisfied longer. I never feel stuffed and usually stop myself before I think I am full. In about 10 minutes, it kicks in and I am no longer hungry. I also eat for dinner Lean Cuisines. Look for the smaller meals that have a higher number of proteins and lower in fat. Acme has them on sale half price this week. It's tough, but you will do just fine. Start making your good changes early on to avoid problems down the line. Take care...Jacquee

I agree with everything that Jacquee said. I too have a very, very bad back and a knee problem but just recently joined Curves. You should try it if you have one in your area. It is all weigh lifting and the inches come off fast. You go at your own pace and belive it or not I can do every machine. I didn't think I'd be able to because of my back but I can. It's all woman too so theres no pressure. Try it. It won't hurt only make things better and better for your knee too. Cheri
