2nd scope in 2 months

Well, I go into the hospital tomorrow morning to have another scope done - haven't been able to eat for the past week and now even water is not staying down. The first one I had was on Aug 15. I have never been able to eat any really solid food at all since my surgery - liquids/pureed/hospital/liquids again/pureed/hospital again! Please say a prayer that it works this time!!! Darla, I wish you well this time and I hope it will be your last. I have not had (knock on wood) any problems thus far like you have, but I Know you must be miserable... Once again best of luck to you Mandie

I had my first scope done Aug 2nd and the last one Sept 17, I asked was I doing something wrong, sense food and I are on the outs, he said no some people make scar tissue more then others, lucky me!! So a special prayer goes out for you, I know what your going thru, and understand the frustration, maybe next year we both and look back on this and laugh, ok probally not. Thanks for the kind words and prayers - they helped! The scope was a breeze today, in and out within an hour and a half. I was much calmer today than with my first scope (probably because I knew what was going to happen) - was joking around with the nurses and my surgeon. I got my 5"X6" glossy of my port opening before/after and a cute pic of the balloon to show off to everyone. As much as it was uneventful, I am really hoping this is the last time I have to go through with it. I am getting tired of not being able to eat without throwing up!
