WOW Jeans moment!!!
I've been buying some clothes a couple of sizes smaller for when I can shrink into them - not a lot of clothes, but enough to get me by.
Anyway, last week I bought a pair of 5 pocket jeans from QVC in a size 1X (2 sizes smaller than my pre-op size). They came to the house yesterday and I folded them up and put them away - to try on in a month or so. While I was working on my computer, I thought that I would try them on, just for giggles. I'm thinking, they probably won't fit over the hips, I'll have to lay on the bed with a pair of pliers and suck in my breath, grown women just don't wear jeans (spandex is my friend!), yada, yada, yada. Wouldn't ya know it, they came up beautifully and zipped up without so much as a problem!!! 
I did the happy dance all over the bedroom 
(scared the dogs to death!)! When hubby came home later on, I told him about my jeans fitting and how I was so excited - he looked at me like I was strange! Men just don't understand....
This is my first really good WOW moment - I am happy!!!

That is awesome Darla I have only worn black cotton/polyester pants (through lane bryant catalog sizes 3x-5x) for the last 10 years except for one pair of jeans I got about 8 years ago when I was down to 330 pounds when I did biometrics and worked out 3 days a week...I don't even look at jeans...Shopping will be fun when I lose another 120 pounds (or so) first.

What a great wow moment. I am so happy for you. That reminds me that I put away a couple of pairs a jeans I could wear after I lost 55 lbs at Weigh****chers. Well, I put them away after I regained the 55 lbs. I am wondering how close I am to getting into those. I hope I didn't give them away during a closet cleaning fit.

Congrats on YOUR WOW moment! Don't jeans feel so good? I just bought myself my first pair of Levi's (550's) in 15 years!! I am enjoying the moment myself. Truthfully, when my DH washed and dried them, I thought "cr*p, they are never going to fit again." Well, I put them on this morning and wasn't I surprised that they fit just fine!!! I was so happy!!
So, Darla-enjoy your jeans and your new mirror image! my hat goes off to you!!!
