How depressing is this?....

Well, I went through some clothes that I've been waiting on wearing. They all fit now - that's the good thing..... BUT.... This is so trivial, but it's honesty. Well, I look fat in them. They fit well, and I'm so happy I'm in smaller sizes, but now I just look like a fat person, and feel like one again. In my regular fat clothes I look like someone who has lost alot of weight - know what I mean? But in these clothes I just look like a fat person again! It's crazy psycho stuff I know, but I was expecting it to give me a rush, and it didn't. Pouting in Mississippi HUGS Kimberly

Kim, I am gonna whip your butt. You should not feel like that, yes you are still overweight, me too but I am so psyched about being a smaller fat person versus a huge fat person a few weeks ago. And missy, did you know that NOW you are classified as OBESE no longer SEVERLY OBESE or MORBIDLY OBESE. You are my hero. Enjoy these new changes, you are on the way to a fabulous success. ****************************************** Your Current Weight - 188 Height - 5' 2" BMI-34.4 [30.0 - 34.9 Obese] Sue

KImberly, I agree with Sue!! You are not FAT, just a little overweight!!1 I did the same thing, tried on my old clothes, got them on but did'nt look too good but at least I got them on. Our expectations are too high. We need to bring them down just a bit. Be proud of yourself, i am. Cheri

LOL Yes ma'am! I really am on cloud nine. My cousin says... Surgery fixes the stomach, but not the brain, therefore, not the self image. Gotta work on that! HUGS Kimberly ps...I'm 5'5" Am I still fat?

Boy oh boy did your cousin say it well. This surgery fixes the stomach not the brain. I still find myself ordering in a restaurant like the "old me", not the "new me". The grocery store no, but eating out, yes. I have to admit, I'd probably have the same reaction you've had and then I'd just have to smack my sad attitude back down. I find that all of the changes that are happening right now with me requires alot of positive self-talk. I try not to do it in public because it would look very, very silly. You're doing great

I know the exact feeling... I had a skirt on today I have not worn in years...very loose too... Felt okay till my dad said-- it made me look bigger than I was.... I felt bad a size smaller and it was loose... I am starting the point of wearing old clothes. Those are getting loose... Hate to buy new cause I do not think I will wear them long... Stuck in the inbetween sizes blues... Oh WELL!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS SO DAMN GOOD TO BE ON THE LOSING SIDE and STILL LOSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR DOING GREAT--- The old clothes fit... they feel good - the darn mirror and our ingrained image is something we need to work on overcoming during this process... It is the same feeling here. SMILE we love you- we know your struggle and we see the change and feel the same changes... IT IS SO GOOD TO HAVE PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND>...
