Calcium Intake problems ! Help please!
My doctor requires the Calcium Citrate. He told me to take Citrical and put the tables in a glass of water over night. By the next morning, the tablets would be dissolved and the sediment at the bottom is just the outer coating and you can just not drink all of that down. Just drink the clear at the top. He learned of this trick at a recent bariatric surgery conference.
I haven't gotten it yet, but will let you know how nasty it is or not.

Hi Jay:
I asked my nutritionist the same thing about Optisource since it has calcium and iron in it together. She said it is formulated with a different type of calcium that works with iron. In her five+ years working with bariatric patients who take Optisource; patients have had great blood work. Who knows what to believe. I will have my labs drawn this week and I will see.
