New Yummy Find!!!!
When I am looking for protein, I use the South Beach Bars as well. I also go to Jamba Juice. I get an "enlightened smoothie" with 3 protein boosts (combines with the 6 grams it already has, this gives me 27 grams of protein). I get the 16 oz size and it is a great meal replacement.
I use the Stallone puddings also. They aren't my favorite, but they will do. If you use Jello sugar free pudding, make it by using "enriched" milk
(this can be made by combining a quart of FF milk and 1 cup of dry milk).
This combination will give you 9 grams of protein in a 1/2 cup of pudding. It is also not so expensive and is regular pudding. You can also add a scoop of protein powder to the pudding and it will boost the pudding by about 15 grams (depending on how much protein your mix has) I do this will butterscotch as well. YUM!

I've gotten hooked on International Delights SF coffees with Unjury protein powders. I used to be a frappacino freak before surgery, or worse yet - Panera iced chai tea latte. I now use various combinations of the coffees and proteins and do 2-3 a day, each with 20 grams. I start with 8 oz water, then after the ice I use it takes it to about 10-12 oz, so I get plenty of liquid with it. Let me know if you need recipes - I'm happy to pass along.
Cheers,
Lynn

South beach bars are great! I've got a new one to try in the cupboard Cranberry Almond. I haven't tried the chili yet but that sounds good. I mix and match the following to get my protein.
1/4 C. Cottage cheese 7grams
1/2 C. Carb Count down fat free milk 6 grams
2 Tbsp Low Carb Skippy Peanut butter 7 grams
individually wrapped string cheese 8 grams
Pre sliced cheddar and jack cheese 7 grams
1/4 C. egg beaters 6 grams
1/2 slice Baker's Inn bread (toasted) 2 grams (not much but if you can handle a whole slice it has 4 grams)
Campbell's soup at hand Creamy Chicken 4 grams
I also got a bunch of protein drink samples from Vitalady. I bought a 3lb. container from GNC before surgery of Isopure Zero carb Vanilla, I can't stand it!!! I paid $50 for it and it's going to waste. Then I got the samples from Vitalady and it has been so awesome. Some are just as gross as the one I have but some are really good. I can now decide which ones I like first before I waste the money. Also getting the samples gives you a variety...Chocolate Marshmallow one day and Strawberry the next. I also remember someone's previous post about microwaving pepperoni and it is delicious. I don't do meat too well either but I can do that! Not very exciting but I hope some of this helps. Good luck.
Saundra,
All sounds good but I get tired of foods so quickly, I've already used up my taste for cottage cheese, chilli and eggs and peanut butter makes me sick and bread (toast) for some reason just doesn't go down well yet. I appreciate your input and I'm so glad these work for you. I use the Costco Alpine vanilla protein powder and it's really good and you get about 8-10 times as much as with one unjury jug for only $19.99. I will be getting chocolate next time to try in addition to the vanilla.
Hey Janice!!! Girl how have you been? I'm having problems keeping food down too. How much have you lost? I'm at 288/248/170.
