Signed up 4 school, thanks to WLS

Hi I forgot to mention that I signed up for school last week. I've put it off for years because of my weight and not feeling good about myself. Today it is all different. I'm really starting to like myself again. I can actually look at myself in the mirror and like what I see. Even when I put clothes on now I actually look in the long mirror to see how it looks. Before I had the WLS I wouldn't do that because I knew how I looked, (really fat). I'm finally starting to live my life again. Thanks for letting me share.I can't wait to hear about other peoples dreams starting to come true Cheri

Thats great Cheri.... I have been in school for the last 1.5 yr trying to finish up my degree... and I can say that this year seems so different.. I can actually talk more and be more involved with my peers.. I just dont sit in the back and keep quite... what are you majoring in? I am taking Criminal Justice and going into parole/probation.. Good luck with your studies and keep up the great work....

Cheri, I am so proud of you. I am sure you will make a difference in many lives. Before I went back to teaching I was the Activity Director in a Drug Rehab Center and it was an experience I won't forget. Frustrating at times and fulfilling at others. I wish you much success! Sandy
