Shopping today
After getting on the scale today-- And thanks for the Sunday weigh in guys-- it's great to have the support. I realized I have hit my second short term goal-- and have not been this low in a few years.
I had promised myself that everytime I hit a meaningful goal I would buy myself one item. So off I went this afternoon to the Woman's department of Lord & Taylor.
I am not a big loser like some of you out there-- so I thought it wouldn't be a big deal-- Guess what? I am a 2X top down from a 3X. And I am down a size on the bottoms.
My point is, even if your not dropping a lot of weight, your body is changing-- if your exercising, you could be losing inches as the fat coverts to a bit of muscle.
I decided not to buy any pants or suits, because they would be a temporary thing. I got a short-sleeve pale blue sweater (2X!!!), because I figure even if it gets big, I can still wear it for a while.
Keep up the great work everyone!
Andrea,
Ain't it Grand??!!! I'm also down a size, and am finally wearing things I've had in my closet for a while! My cousin had RNY and she gave me a TON of clothes last summer that I could not wear...but NOW I CAN!! WOOHOO!!
I love it! I'll take my "little" loss and rejoice in it!
to ya!

Andrea-
Congrats on the great shopping experience!!! Sunday weigh in is a true blessing for me also!!!
Just to share, I also had to go shopping this weekend. I am down both in tops and bottoms!! I didn't buy too much either, knowing that this stage was temporary until I get my exercising a little further along.
Congrats also on the weight loss for this week ****Happy Dance**** for you!!
Have a great evening and a terrific week!!

YOU GO GAL!
CONGRATS - WHAT A GREAT FEELING!!
I separated my closet
I have all my 22s on the top rack> ready to move out when I need to toss.
The bottom are a range of sizes from 14- 20's.
Scary though - I wear suits now... and all the suits are 22's.. I can button the blazers and cover the looseness in the pants.. Not sure how long I can go.. BUT I LOVE THE IDEA OF SHOPPING!
