Need To Know

I have had the nerve in my right leg hurt since rny laproscopy on 7/20.I hurt in my hip the night after surgery. An had to have a pillow put under my right hip.But it seem's more in my leg from the hip down now.Just wondering if anyone else had this problem.I was tested for clots.Please let me know.Thanks alot.

I have a weird numb like thing in my right thigh. One afternoon it was painful. But I am pretty sure mine is related to all the funny positions I have been laying at night lately. I am pretty sure I am pinching a nerve. I have lots of trouble with my right hip anyway. I am think mine will get better when I loose some of this weight. When were you tested for clots? They can form at any time after (if your not doing much moving around.... or even spending any good amounts of time sitting or in a cramped position.) You may want to check with your Dr again about this! Keep us posted! Linda

Linda, I was tested for clots on my first checkup after surgery.It feels just like a nerve.At night if I don't move it for awhile it is very painful.Especially to bend it hurts so bad.Thanks for the information.I go back to see my Dr. tomorrow.will let you know what he say's.
