ladies only

ok i don't like to get personal but i have a question for the ladies. have any of you had problems or had a difference in your sex life after surgery? for me, it's been weird. like lets say i feel but don't GET THERE. in a way i feel a little numb and i feel weird having sex now. anyone else go through this? i wonder if it's just mental!! maria

Hi Maria, I would say it took me a little while to feel "back up to full speed". I think there are so many changes going on with our minds and bodies that it makes it difficult to handle everything and still "perform". Best of luck, Maria

hey maria, i hope that's all it is. i feel bad sometimes because i sometimes don't even want hubby to touch me. he doesn't deserve that and it's not that i'm not attracted to him or anything, just i don't feel comfortable in my skin or something. my body feels akward and my stomach is irritated at any touch, even my clothes. wish me luck getting past this!! maria

Hi ladies, I'm just the opposite. My husband is the one who does'nt want to be bothered. I would love to be with him, but he does'nt even touch me and it's really starting to get to me. He and I both had surgery. I had mine 3 weeks before him. He's even lost over 70lbs. and starting to look really sexy again, me too I just have to be patient and wait. Cheri

I know how you feel. My sex drive went out the window after surgery. I sometimes feel like I don't even want hubby to touch me at all. I have read that this does get better. I am waiting.....

sex drive? what the heck is that...I didnt want sex two days before my surgery and I still havent even had the slightest twinge to have it...and I'm a month out...my fiance is really getting frustrated...but he knows he will just have to wait it out...or leave lol and I dont think hell be doing that
