20 lbs is good sometimes that happens to hit a stand still look your body is in shock and it is not sure what is going on....it will figure it out....But if your now exercising and moving more then u are gaining muscle and losing fat and muscle weighs more than fat....Use your clothes a tool....I work as a nurse for a baraitric surgeon and our patients go through the same thing and I tell them to use clothes as a tool I have 2 that had the RNY on july 11 and both have lost between 31-33 lbs so give it time ....take the 20 and the 19 before and you are right on target for weight lose....plus your BMI is not as high as some peope according to your profile....give it a little time you will see it more on the scales....

I had the same problem. I had my surgery 7/15 and lost 26 lbs. the first two weeks. The next two weeks, I lost 4-1/2 lbs. My surgeon says that 100% of his patients experience minimal weight loss in weeks 3 and 4 post-op. Even though I have a fistula that may be interfering with my weight loss, I'm trying to trust him and be patient. Let's see what happens in the next month, Jodi. Good luck! Warmth, Michele
