Hey Earl! Just wanted to say congrats on your weight loss! That's awesome. Anyway, I know how you feel about the infection. I had to be admitted back into the hospital only 5 days after my surgery (LapRNY, July 25, '05) because I was spiking high fevers and in sooooo much pain. It turned out that I had an infection that started at the drain site and was spreading and causing inflammation throughout the left side of my abdomen. My surgeon had an infectious disease team come in and check me out and put me on the strongest antibiotics there are available. By the next morning I felt much much better, and was released two days later. I hope the cipro is enough to work. If you still aren't feeling better, blease drag yourself to the ER and have the infection checked out. We can never be too careful with our bodies, but you know that I am sure!
