Sunday Weekly Weighin
Janice, I had surgery the 7th and have only lost about 23 pounds. It is coming off slow to me. This is supposed to be rapid weight loss right? But then my husband is telling me "your body thinks it's starving. If you lose it slow you won't have a problem with loose skin. Lose it slow so your body can keep up". I still thought I would see immediate results.
Then again, I watched Celebrity Fit Club on tv the other day and I had to laugh. The group of 5 or 6 have only lost about 30 pounds (combined!) in the past 42 days! At least I am doing better than them!

Hey Janice ~
I'm feeling the same way. My surgery was July 12th and I have only lost 19 lbs. I read about other people cheating already and still losing at a much faster rate than I am. I get all my protein and water in and I'm still stuck. At 2 weeks out I had lost 17-1/2 lbs and have only lost 1-1/2 in the past 2 weeks. I follow my doctors instructions to the "T". I have gotten sick three times but I think it is because I was eating too fast. I am very depressed over the loss considering I started out at 350 you would think I would be further along.

12 days post op and down about 15 pounds.
Officially at the surgeon's office, I weighed 296 on 7/13. Surgery (no weighin that day) was 7/26. On 8/3 at surgeon's office I weighed 284.5.
According to my scale which does not match the surgeon's I have dropped another 4.5 pounds.
However much it is, it is gone forever!!!
