Question for the day
At one month out what food does your doctor have you eating? I know everyones doctors are different just wanted to get an idea of what others were trying.
At one month my doctor says we can try just about anything but raw veggies and meat. He reccomends food high in protein of course as first choice and no sugar. But can have things like crackers and graham crackers if needed to soothe stomach. Other restrictions are no lobster or shrimp. I have noticed many people are eating shrimp... I do not know why the restriction but I will follow I do no want any problems.

My doctor says full liquids is:
Skim Milk (I use carb countdown skim because more protein and less sugar)
Cream Soups (Pureed down to total liquid)
Soupy mash potatoes
Protein Shakes
Soupy Cream of Wheat
And any of the clear stuff you were on previously. Ever doctor is different but that is what I have been on since July 19th and will move to the next step on Aug. 16th.

Good Question !
Every doc seems to put everyone on different diets. My diet was first 10 days water and broth.
Since than is 1/2 oz lean meat, chicken, turkey and green leafy veges. No sweets of any kind No sugar free anything. Decaf coffeee and tea and water at least 2 Liters.
No protien drinks at all.
I am able to eat a lot of salad. I can eat about 1/2 cup or more. Just lettuce and oil and vinger. Can anyone else eat that much salad?
