Donna,
Congratulations!! We share a surgery date and the same results for the first week.
I am in awe of you that you can go back to work so soon. I am still tired. I feel better now that I am drinking protein shakes, but I made a brief trip to the store yesterday and a doctor appointment, and I am exhausted today. I don't work for a family member, so I am staying home a bit longer until I feel stronger.
Best wishes for your continued success in your weight loss journey. Keep on posting!!

Linda, Thanks. To my fellow 26'er!! Congrads on your loss as well. It is a very good start for us!! Please don't be in awe of me. I only went back becuse my family needs the money for one and I work with my brother. I know that I would be watched carefully. I only did a half a day. It ended up to be a bit much for me. So I will see what monday brings. I hope that you feel more rested with every new day. I think that you are right. It is best ( if you have the time ) to feel stronger when going back to work. Thanks for your thoughts.

Donna,
I do feel better every day. I made a few short trips out on my own this week, and I am getting stronger. I confess to not doing enough exercise, and I know I have to change that practice.
I work for the state, and I have to drive 45 minutes each way to get to work. That means I am gone 11 hours/day. I have been able to save up a lot of sick leave, and I have decded to use it to give myself the best chance of success. By the time I go back, I have been on soft foods for a few days and will have established an exercise routine. I hope.
Best of luck to you and don't push your self too hard this week.
Linda
