Saw the Dr. Yesterday
Yeah For You! and shame on you. When I read the Dr.'s Holy comment I laught so hard I had to hold stomach tight and go Tee Hee Ouch Ouch. Great great report. Yeah it has been hard I am 1 week out. But I do have some good times. Actually the pain hasn't completely returned from the morphine given in hospital so I can do more house stuff, which to me is already a blessing. I know the knee pain will return too but for now it's not so bad. Or maybe I'm comparing it to the surgery. But all in all - life's good.God bless - Cil I am recording a really funny thing that happened in my profile tomorrow. It'll make you laugh so hold your tummy.
Hi Priscilla,
Sorry about the ouchies!!! I laughed as well when I heard her say it. It was so funny!
I think the first week was really hard. You are surrounded by food in your house, but you don't get to have any. It was weird what my head decided to do to me! I'm glad it's over, and I will commiserate with anyone who needs it that first week! It was tough. Still not the easiest thing, but getting off meds is such a motivator. That's good the morphine is still working for you. Before you know it you will be so many pounds lighter and your knees will thank you for it! And tht first week will be over soon (hmm, probably already by the time I got to reply to this) and it will just continue to get better.
I'll go check out your profile for the funny story.
Take care, and thanks for the message. It made me smile!
Lisa
