How long til stomach goes down?

Does anyone know how long it will be before my stomach will not look so swollen? I had lap RNY on 7/12. Feeling great with little or no pain but my stomach still seems bloated from surgery.

weeks, I'm post op 2 weeks andstill passing tons of gas from the surgery when they blow up your stomach wth GAS, my surgery was 14th, I lost 26 lbs but my clothes still fit! Bumber, hang in there girl "THIS TO SHALL PASS"

I am glad you posted that. I was feeling so good about how many pounds I had lost untill I put the measuring tape around my abdoman to discover no inches lost around tummy. Every one is telling me I am smaller but tummy is still huge. Hopefully in a month it will be down Donna

I am hoping too. Glad to know I am not the only one

Whew, I was wondering what was going on with my belly. I've lost weight, my bracelets and rings are loose and falling off, shoes are bigger, but my pants still fit around the middle. I'm two weeks out, so maybe next week will be better. One can only hope.

Well, you all sure just made me feel better! I'm down 25 pounds and wondering how in the He## my pants can still be snug in the waist! I guess, like everything else, this gas, too, shall pass... ;)
