I forgot one thing, sorry
They did find blood clots in my feet and ankles after the surgery. We are still working on what's going on and trying to fix it.Every week I still have blood drawn every week so they can keep and eye on my blood to make sure that it stays where it should. Thhe docs are doing a good job on keeping an eye on me I'll tell you that much. Thanks to all in the office and the Dr. who takes care of me.
Cheri
Oh my GOODNESS!! I hope everying is ok! That's so scary. My husband has had 2 blood clots in his legs, and (with medication) they disipated with no issues. However, it was only 2, not many like it sounds like you have! I hope it all goes well! I'm glad they are keeping such a close watch on you.
Take care and {{{HUGS}}}

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for taking the time to give me a little info. Like what is disipated mean? Is there anything you can tell me about this because I truly think something there is really going on and it;s like they are trying to keep it hush, hu****'s weird or maybe it's just me. I've never had a Dr, that cared as much as this one so maybe I'm being a little bit paranoid or just NUTS Thanks Cheri
Hi Cheri,
Disipated means it slowly went away. His Dr put him on medication to get rid of it, and had him watch for symptoms of it going to his lungs. But his clots were close to the surface, and those don't go to the lungs or brain. So he was pretty safe. It's the deep vein ones that can really hurt you.
I am surprised they don't have you on meds for this. I know Dr's don't like to give out too much info cause they don't want to scare you, but I would ask specific questions and insist on an answer. Blood clots are scary, and you need to know about it, so you can help them to help you. I wish I had more information for ya, but DH is fine now, and none the worse for wear. I am wishing the same for you!!
I would love to write more, but it's getting late and I have some plans for this evening. Sorry hun! Take care. If I think of anything else that may help, I will let you know.
I'm thinking of you! {{{HUGS}}}

Hi Cheri,
I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you. I can understand how scared you are, I'm so sorry. (Please don't consider yourself a pain in the as@. I understand how worried you must be...) Hmm, my husbands' clots in his leg were puffy and hot to the touch. And the skin around was kind of red. So I guess we could feel them. I don't know what that means, though (that we could physically tell they were there). I wasn't as involved in the whole process as he was. I had to work while he went to some of his Dr appointments. I know they did an ultrasound on each of them (and I was there for the first one) and they saw nothing in the deep veins; which is what they were looking for. Since they weren't deep vein clots, his Dr was much less concerned, and put him on some kind of medicine and they went away. It took a few weeks, but it worked. There was no big fuss made at all (once the ultrasounds were clear.) I'm sorry I can't be of more help. His went away with a minimum of fuss (and the medication of course). I don't know what kinds of questions you could ask. Maybe ask if they are deep vein? Or ask for an ultrasound to see if they are deep vein? That's about all I can think of. But I promise, if I think of anything else I will let you know.
Take care hun. I will be thinking of you.
Warm Regards,
Lisa
