I don't think that is bad, I am 10 days out and my dr allows me to have soft food/starter foods, and crisp toast is on my list too. I don't think it will hurt you at all just make sure to chew chew chew. Good Luck Laura

I do not think it wasw bad either. Depends on the Doctor and procedure performed. Your stomach will tell you if it is wrong ! I also find it difficut to stop wanting food to eat. I was relased from the hospital on the 13th and the lst 2 days I was on a soft diet, jello, sorbee, cream soup, juice and yogart ! I am craving a tuna salad really bad, but fear keeps from trying it ! I think the lettuce would be a bit rough going down. On the same instructions I was told I could eat a saltine cracker So go figure, Just take care a chew really well before you swallow.

Sara, I too gave way for a tiny taste of meat loaf. I thought I would die it smelled so good as it was cooking. I got what was probably less than one half of an ounce but enjoyed it tremendously. I chewed and chewed until it was all gone. I did burp my head off later though.

I totally understand, and I think that if you tolerated it without vomiting you will be fine. I am ten days postop Lapband and all I can think about is what I CAN'T eat! I have not eaten any solids, still sticking to my liquids but I dont have the "full" sensation they said I would. I have had moments when I just wanted to tear this thing out of my abdomen!
