Just wondering how much has everyone lost post op?
I am probably the slowest post op loser of all
I thought it would be fun to see how everyone is doing.
Question 1:
What was your surgery date?
Did you loose any weight pre op?
If so how long did it take you to loose the weight.
Question 2:
How much did you loose at you first weight in post op?
Question 3:
How much have you lost total post op?
How much have you lost from the first appt with your surgeon?
Question 4:
Are you exercising?
Question 5:
What is a typical day of eating?
Drinking?

If so how long did it take you to loose the weight.

35 lbs

Are you exercising?
Sadly to say I am bearly walking. Have no energy
Question 5:
What is a typical day of eating?
breakfast 1/2 oz ham
lunch 1/2 oz tuna
diner 1/2 oz tuna or chicken
Drinking?
70 -80 oz of water
I should be loosing faster but I am just a slow poke I guess. 11 lbs in 18 days is very depressing. I guess I have to get walking

Are you exercising?
No "real" exercising just some moderate walking on occasion.
Question 5:
What is a typical day of eating?
breakfast: oatmeal, cream of wheat, or soft egg (1 - 2 Tbsp)
lunch: 1 - 2 Tbsp of soup, refried beans, pureed veggies, etc.
diner: same as lunch but usually with some meat thrown in.
Drinking?
30 - 40 oz of water
I'm also getting in at least 2 protein shakes each day - at least 50 grams of protein.
Keep up the good work, Pam. I feel like I'm a slow poke also....Here's another question to add: starting weight and height (for me I was 272 and 5'7")

Are you exercising?
yes, walking 1.5 miles per day, going farther every day
Question 5:
What is a typical day of eating?
breakfast: 1/4 cup egg beaters, 1/4 cup fruit
lunch: 1/4 cup ground meat, 1/4 cup soft cooked veg.
dinner: 1/4 cup ground meat, 1/4 cup soft cooked veg., 1/4 cup fruit
protien drink: 6 oz X 3 times daily
Drinking?
sipping water, crystal light all the time. No drinking 1/2 hour before eating and not until 1/2 hour after eating
P.S. I FEEL GREAT!!!

You are doing great!! You are alot to eat alot more than me. My Doc doesnt believe in protein drinks???
So my protein comes directly from the foods I eat.
which is only 1 1/2 ozs per day.
One other question.
What was your starting weight and height

lost 19 since last dr appt
question 4:yes I cycle or walk
question5: 1/4egg breakfast
1/4 chicken salad for lunch
1/4 fish for dinner
protein shake after breakfast
drinking only getting 20-30 oz down
I feel like I am slowly losing also.
