I am home!!
I just wanted to say congrats to everyone who has had surgery since I have last been here and welcome anyone new since my last visit.
I had my surgery on Monday, came home on Thursday and feel awesome! I am not going to go and run a marathon but I really do not feel all that different than pre-op (meaning no pain!). I got on the scale today and since Sunday (day before surgery) I have lost 12 pounds. Not a bad deal
Good luck to everyone about to have surgery
Take care everyone,
Nancy
Nancy, so glad to see you made it to the losing side and are doing so well. I know what you mean about trying to wait to get on the scale but getting on any way. It's the first thing I grab after I go to the bathroom each morning. It is so nice to see it going down for a change instead of up all the time. Keep walking and sip those high protein stuff. I found some unflavored whey at a GNC healthfood type store. I have been adding it to skim milk with 2 spoonfuls of sf Nestles Quick. I also add it to Walmart brand sugar free drink mixes .My favorite is the early sun rise and peach.Keep us psosted!
Hi Nancy, welcome home honey. I'm glad there were no complications either. I couldn't wait to weigh myself either and I'm glad i did. A total of 41lbs and it feeld so good This is the first time I ever lost that kind of weight and keptit off, so far anyhway. Oh I intend to tgoo.Have a wonderful day tomorow and tak=lk to you later, hugs, cheri
