Surgery on the 28th!

I can't wait, but my nerves are just racing! I'm the youngest patient my doctor has ever operated on (I'm 19).

I sure wish I were still 19!!! I am 34 and having my surgery on the 28th also. I am excited and nervous all in one. Good luck!! Shellie

I'm sure the surgery will be very easy, I am a little older than you, 22. The surgery was a breeze, my dr said being young helps recover quicker and lose weight quicker. Good Luck! Laura

I am scheduled for the 28th too! I can't believe it is right around the corner. I have researched this for almost 3 years. I feel overly prepared and extremely certain that this is the right choice for me. I have been excited since I got my date and thought it would be forever before it would happen. Now that it is next week, these thoughts and nerves keep popping up! There is no question to me about my decision so where do these nervous thoughts come from? I don't know but I do know that it is completely normal!! Hang in there and focus on the positives!! As for the youngest patient thing - GOOD FOR YOU! I wish I would have done this at 19, I can only imagine how different life would be now at 37! Hugs - Stacey
