I'm a newbie

Greetings to all! My name is Kadria and I am almost 2 weeks post-op. I am new to the site and learning my way around. My surgery was 7/8. Everything went well with surgery and I am healing quite quickly. I just wish I could "see" the weight coming off. I see it on the scales, but not in my clothes. God Bless! Kadria

Kadria- Hello! Congrats on your successful surgery. I hear there is some swelling that can last 2-3 weeks. So, I am betting your clothes are going to feel much looser in the next few weeks! Linda

Welcome Kendria! I guess I am one day older than you, my surgery was on 7-7-05. I know how you feel. I am at the same place you are! My face and my chest are the two places that I can notice the loss.( Not much else visible at all) My rings are getting too big, I think that every time my ring gets too big, my husband should by me a new temporary wedding ring. (I could have a few diamonds by the time I reach my goal!) Good thought, not reality! Hang in there! Each day for me does seem to get easier. Please keep in touch, and take care! Darla Ratzak
