Problems sleeping?
I can't sleep at all. When I finally do fall asleep, it's usually for a long period of time. I have also been sleeping in our recliner since I got home from the hospital. I tried the bed...and it was way too uncofortable, especially seeing as I like to sleep on my side. This way, I don't strain myself. Surgery was 7/8/05

I wonder if I got into this bad habit while at the hospital...every two hours they were coming in to check my vitals. Hmmm...I doubt it since I was only there for one night. I can't believe that I am not grouchy from lack of sleep! Another shocker is that I do have energy (although I believe that it would be higher if I actually slept through the night).
For the first week, I couldn't sleep on anything but my back. Very uncomfortable since I'm a side/stomach sleeper. I was lucky though, on the 8th day, like magic, I was able to sleep on my side and a couple days later, on my stomach. Everything now is back to normal. But everyone is different....some people, months out, still have trouble sleeping on their side. Just use lots of pillows if that's how you have to sleep.
But you are soooo not alone in the having trouble sleeping dept. I think we've all been there. It will pass...I promise.
