hubby not doing to well and niether am I

John had a relly rough night with his pain and they are still trying to get it under control.As for me well I got good news and bad news, my anlkes started to swell so they did an ultra sound yesterday and found some blood clots on both ankles. They gave me some blood thinners and told me to follow up with my PCD today. I wasn't scared before but now I am, now the good news I lost 22 lbs. Thats not to bad right? I was hoping for me but it's better than gaining.Dr. said I have to exercise more. I'm finally on soft foods. I ate a bowl of oatmeal with 1% skim milk yesterday with slpenda and it was actually very ggod, Please keep us in yout prayers, especially John. I dpn't know what I'd do without him he,s my whole world, besides the kid Hugs, Cheri

Cheri- I will keep you and your husband in my prayers. I know it has to be hard you both having this so close together. But down the road you will be happy to have a companion on the same path as you. I hope your hubby will be feeling better in a few days-- is he having complications? Or is he just having trouble managing the pain? I am so happy for you that they caught your blood clots before they had caused you even bigger problems!!! So sorry hubby is having a hard time. Is he not responding to the morphine drip? Hopefully he will get past this today and get some good rest. What kind of exercise have you been doing? Your issue make me wonder if I am doing enough too.

I hope all will turn out for you both and I'm sure it will. Prayers will be said for both of you for a speedy recovery.

I wantto thank all of you for your supoort and your prayers,John is finally getting a bit bdtter, He also has a few complications but they are under control, thank God. well the doc said thatb the blood thinner pills should help , I'll have to go every Tuesday to get my blood level checked to make sure everything is ok, Also learned how to give myself a B-12 shot now, I get a little overwhelmed withh all the stuff I have to do but it'll come to me like a regular routine Hugs, Cheri

Hi LInda, How are you doing these days? As for me a little bit better. John might be coming home today and that woiyld be so nice, he might be a pain in the ass but he;s my pain in the ass As far as my blood clots go I have to vo every Tuesady morning so thet can draw blood to check the levell for at least 6 months until they get it under control with a thinner or something thicker. Anthow they said they caught it just in time to take care of it. Thank God. Here I am trying to get heathear and they found something new. Figure that one out right? So you like the pics, My friend Teresa did them for me but I still can't get them on the EZ board. It's a board sort of like this one but more personal. I'll mail you the address if you'd like ok.
