BACK HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL
I want to thank all of you who kept me in your prayers and that took the time to post your encouraging words.
Im finally home from the hospital and my surgery went quite well. I haven't had any pain so far, only from my IV site and a little gas discomfort. I really expected much worse. I'm doing a little walking and trying to drink my fluids...although I "feel" quite full and believe its aggrevating the gas problem.
Any suggestions for the gas? I've been taking simithicone and trying to "walk it down" but I still hear and feel it bubbleing around in my tummy.
WALK, WALK, WALK THATS THE TICKET! I GET ALOT OF GAS TOO BUT IF I WALK IT GOES AWAY. THEY TOLD ME IN THE HOSPITAL THAT SOMETIMES MILK WILL GIVE YOU GAS TO. I HAD MY SURGERY ON THE 12TH LEFT THE HOSPITAL DRINKING A FULL LIQUID DIET. BUT MY GAS HAS DECREASED ALOT, BECAUSE OF THE WALKING. I WALK EARLY IN THE MORNING, AND LATE EVENING.
