I think this is a very important quetion, their are supposed to be angels out there for peop[le who are going tru a hard time and really need your support. I don't understand it we are supposed to be there for each other and we'er not. What's really going on? How hard is it to help someone and be there for them? I would have loved an ange, it shows someone cares. Why bother asking if you have or even want one? That question should be taken off the profile quetioner, Think about it, Sincerly, Cheri

Cheri-I am relatively new to participating on OH. I don't know to much about the angel stuff since I did not have one either. I am more than willing to be here for you if you need to talk or ask questions. I have had a few small bumps in the road to recovery but nothing I couldn't handle. Please let me know what I can do for you or I am here if you would like to talk. I can be a good listener as well. Take care and please let me know if there is anything I can assist you with. joyce

Cheri- I read the information about becoming an angel. It seems it was started mostly so that only one person brings or sends to your hospital the "card" with well wishes. (from your support page). I feel like this board is where we can get support. I am still pre-op....but I am happy to listen anytime you like. I care. I have read your profile and feel like I know you already! I think most of us are intimidated by becoming angels. I know I am a bit- I am already freaking out a bit about my own surgery. I am not sure how much help I am going to be to someone else. KWIM? Hugs, Linda

yOU KNOW SOMETHING lINDA YOU HAVE A REALLY GOOD point. Angels are a very good idea but we should be schooled on it. What happenes if we give the wrong advice or somethhhing1 I'm going to bring this up to the members of the board ans if enough of us do it something will change, Thanks again for your supoort. Cheri

i agree but i also note that maybe we are all scared and dont know anything when we first decided to do this so how can we be of much support. and then maybe right after surgery peoepl are so over whelmed with every thing that they cant do it. so the way im looking at this . is i know people are reading this. and i knowwe should all put helpful in fo good and bad. it would be nice if maybe the group from the moth before us would get on ours and helps us through it. maybe thats what they should do is do a 2 month post op thingy... but any way.. i know nothign yet. havent had mine. hugs sue c.. 7-20
