My first weigh in...

Well folks, my first weigh in was today. My surgery was July 6, my weight was 275 and today I weighed in at 256! I never would have thought I would lose what 18 pounds? I would have been happy with one pound but I will sure take the 18 pounds that are now gone forever. Good luck and best wishes as always to all. joyce

Yeah for you Joyce. I can't wait to have my sugery. It is the 28th and it seems so far away. Keep up the good work.

That is great Joyce!!! I cant wait to weigh in - My appt isnt until the 21st. I could always go weigh in at the sleep center but I may as well wait. I cant wait to get this tube out!! Carie

Joyce, you are doing tremendous! Keep up the good work. I am three days out and waiting for my first weigh in. I go to the surgeon on Monday to have the stomach drain removed. I am doing really well. So far I haven't had any problems with anything.

Thanks again for all your replies. I live in a very rural area so ObesityHelp is my support system besides my friends and family. I know all of us are going to do just fine. I will celebrate every weigh in that provides a loss with a protein shake! Take Care-joyce
