New plans do not include Gastric Bypass in the near future

I was scheduled for Gastric Bypass surgery in Clinton IL on July 12, but due to abdominal pains, the surgery has been postponed. The most recent information that I have is as follows. I will be having an ERCP ("a highly sophisticated technique, requiring special endoscopic training") on July 25 in Urbana. It is typically an outpatient procedure, but can require an overnight stay in the hospital. If there is any damage to the bile duct or any other problems, they will correct this at the time of the procedure. As far as the Gastric Bypass, I will have to wait until after the ERCP to reschedule. There has been no indication that I won't be able to reschedule afterward. I just wanted to update everyone. I'm having problems figuring out (again) how to post my updates to my page. Thank you to everyone who have given me advice and encouragement through this whole ordeal. Hi - Sorry your surgery for WL is dalayed but best you be in good health first. As for updating I had a diffucult time tool Go in on your profile up top of the page and click where it says to edit.
