Anyone else's date affected by UC nurse's strike????????

I was scheduled for the 21st at UCSF. I got a call yesterday that all UC hospitals RN's are going on a 1 day strike on...you guessed it...the 21st. They are "tenatively" rescheduling me for the 25th. I am so heart broken! I fell so bad for all of us who will have to continue to wait. Is anyone else going thru this? They said all surgeries from the 18-22 will need to be rescheduled. I know it's only 4 more days but the new date is not a sure thing. I know you all understand how any extra bumps in the road are so upsetting. My sister has already taken leave (Navy) to be with me. I feel really bad for her! Please let me know I am not the only one affected by this? Am I just being a big baby? Just keep me in your prayers!
