Re: Liquid Diet If you are having laproscopic surgery the liquid diet is important. It will shrink your liver. Apparently they will have to "move" your liver to get to the parts for surgery. And you will be A BUNCH less sore if they can get around it easier. (The less "pushing it out of the way" the less sore your going to be!) PLUS I have read that sometimes if the liver is just too much in the way- they may have to change to an open surgery. So I thought I would let you know... That liquid junk may make you feel better quicker after. You can do it!!!!!!!!!! Linda
