A last hoorah

My friends want to take me out for a last hoorah tonight, which will probably involve a lit drinking. Since my surgery is three days away do u think it would be bad to dink anything. I know my dr said no smoking the week before but he didn't say anythink about drinking. Any suggestions? Thanks, Laura

I wouldn't go crazy...but I am doubting one or two could hurt. If it worries you though... just don't. You can have fun with your friends without getting toasted -- which is something you need to practice anyway!

I was told that alchohol is a blood thinner - not good to have before surgery! My surgeon said not to drink any alchohol for two weeks before surgery. Darla - Detroit
