Last Pre-op Dr. Visit. And my CD came!!

Hey all! I had my last pre-op Dr. visit with my surgeon today. It all went smooth. He answered all my last minute questions. And I am all set to go. I was worried he would mention the small amount of weight I have gained but he didn't! I have been on and off diets over the past few months. My insurance company had me do one. And then they put me on a pre-op diet then took me off because I didn't get the date they were expecting. I haven't been crazy with my eating...but in my usual way I gained back all I had lost plus and extra two pounds. (Which is why I HATE diets!) I am now at an all time high in weight. (I think I may have reached this weight when I was pregnant with my daughter). All I can say is that I am actually GLAD to be on the pre-op diet. My clothes don't fit right. And I am miserable! So when I get home from the Dr. office.... Awaiting me on the doorstep is the CD I ordered. It is a preparing for surgery meditation CD. I am excited to get to try it out. Hopefully it will help me with this "about to have surgery" jitters! I can't believe how fast this month is flying. So many of you have already had your surgery! I am excited that we are all moving to the loosers bench! 14 days and counting.... Linda
