Surgery Postponed!

I was in ER over the weekend and have an inner ear infection. I am still running a temp today, so they have postponed my surgery from tomorrow to a week from Tuesday, 7/19 I know it is just a week, but I am so very disappointed. Of all the things - a blasted earache! Just have to get my 10 minutes of whining and pouting out of the way. Regards, Jamie

BUMMER!! When my surgery got cancelled I was really disappointed...after getting all psyched and then the letdown and uncertainty.. I hope your ear feels better soon and we will meet on the losing side!! Good luck.

Mary Alice, You are so right, the emotional letdown is the worst, I was so ready for this to take place tomorrow. On the up side, they did reschedule me right away and for only a week out. It seems forever, but I know it will pass quickly. The worst is the logistics (husband's time off, letting friends, family and work know, etc. etc.). I have waited years for this, another week won't kill me, right? It looks like your surgery is this Wednesday, correct? Best of luck and my prayers for you. hI Mary Alice Today was suppossed to be my surgery day to and last night at about 8:00 pm I was told that my dr. had an emergency I am so let down tooooooo! But as far as I know I will be having it next Monday..but the people who had already taken time off from work wont be able to next week so itll be hectic..but maybe there is a reason for our delays..lets just hold on for 1 more week we have waited this long thinking of you Lisa M j

Mine has been postponed until 7/19 as well! Hurricane Dennis is to blame for that one!

I totally understamnd how you feel, they postponed my husbands from the 15th of June until the 18th of July, he also was so upset. But look at the bright side it's still getting done, right? Cheri
